Why We Exist
MIXX Community Collaborative Space was created as a rapid response to drastic cuts in federal funding for LGBTQ+ services — including healthcare, housing support, mental health resources, and youth programming.
Rather than wait on systems that continue to exclude us, we chose to build our own. MIXX is a self-sustained, community-led space for organizing, healing, dreaming, and building together.
Who We Serve
We center Black, Queer, and allied communities. Our doors are open to:
• Organizers
• Artists and creatives
• Healers and educators
• Youth, elders, and everyone in between
We believe that access to space is access to power, and that liberation is something we build — together.
